Joe’s Stone Crab, South Florida’s landmark institution is celebrating 100 years of fine dining and sublime seafood. On October 15, 2013 Joe’s will once again re-open its doors and welcome patrons to their family-owned Miami Beach restaurant. This year is especially significant because Joe’s has been in business for a century. Their menu is varied but 60-65 % of their sales are still the stone crabs.

Last year several Miami Dames invited President of Les Dames d’Escoffier International, Mary Ellen Griffin to Joe’s Stone Crab for a get-acquainted fun lunch. When Mary Ellen returned to New York she sent a lovely note to the Miami chapter ladies and thanked them for introducing her to a great eatery and a memorable meal.
