The world famous Biltmore Hotel welcomed Italian Chef Giuseppe “Beppe” Galazzi to Coral Gables several months ago. Chef Beppe, who was born in Ferrara, Italy, started his culinary journey at the age of 14. Influenced by his grandfather who was also a chef and his teachers at the Culinary Institute in Italy he has developed a unique way of preparing his dishes which have foodies taking notice at the Fontana Restaurant.

He said, “I like to offer what people cannot often find in restaurants and that they won’t cook at home.”

He attributes his success to his use of organic produce, fresh local ingredients and the desire to combine specialties from various cultures and fuse them with Italian traditions.
